Mr and Miss MSHS Coronation Ceremony
On Monday, February 16th, Coronation was held in the Muscle Shoals Auditorium. Miss Laura Milligan, the reigning Miss UNA, served as Mistress of Ceremonies. Saylor Collum and Conner Simmons, kindergarten students at Howell Graves served as pages. Emily Kathryn McCann and Taft Elliott received the honor of
Mr. and Miss Muscle Shoals High School 2009.
Coronation is a very special time at MSHS. The Top Ten Senior Men and Women are chosen by the Faculty of Muscle Shoals High School. From that list, the Senior Class narrows the selection to the Top Five. The Top Five Men and Women are then presented to the student body and Mr. and Miss MSHS are decided through a student vote from grades 9-12. All of the young men and women honored on Monday evening are to be congratulated for their achievements. See the highlights in the slideshow below.
